Homegating Tips with Shops of Southlake

Who says that just because you’re not physically at the game that you can’t tailgate? You can celebrate the game right at home with these great homegating tips from Central Market Southlake at the Shops of Southlake.

Go Shopping the Day Before

The last thing you want to do is make your guests have to wait to eat because you didn’t go grocery shopping until that day. Going the day before game day means that you’ll have plenty of time to get everything you need and won’t be in a rush and accidentally forget something.

Have Plenty of Beverage Options

Don’t limit your guests to just a couple of drink options. Pick up all the sodas, beers and wines that you could imagine at Central Market Southlake. If you really want to show who you’re rooting for, you can always pick up some beer that comes from your favorite team’s state.

Do More Than Grill

If all you plan on doing is firing up the grill and not serving up anything else, then you aren’t homegating right. You’ve got access to your entire kitchen, so use it! Make some easy side dishes and desserts. The effort may be minimal, but your guests will surely take notice.

Go the Extra Yard

For the last of our homegating tips, we suggest going the extra mile for your guests. If you’re going to watch the game outside and it’s expected to be a chilly night, think about getting some outdoor patio heaters, or simply stock up on extra blankets for everyone.

With these homegating tips in mind, you’re now ready to invite all your friends and family over to watch the big game this weekend. For all your food and beverage homegating needs, come to Central Market Southlake, and for all your cheer gear, you can come to Fans United Southlake! Both of these great must-stop pre-homegating destinations are in the Shops of Southlake.
