It’s officially the first day of summer, and we here at the Shops of Southlake couldn’t be more ecstatic! We love summer, especially the longer days. However, we aren’t too crazy about the heat. While some people go elsewhere to enjoy summer, enjoy a bit of a staycation and summer in Southlake this year.

With miles of trails and over 1,000 acres of parks, there’s plenty of room for you and your family to run around and have a great time! For something that’s fun and educational, take the family over to the Bob Jones Nature Center & Preserve. There you can walk trails, scout for birds and insects and learn all about the beautiful nature of Southlake.

Your kids are probably driving you up the wall now that they have all this extra free time, and just because they’re out of school for the summer, that doesn’t mean they can’t keep learning! The city of Southlake is offering multiple STEAM-themed classes and day camps. It isn’t too late to register for these great and fun youth camps in Southlake.
