Main Causes of Eye Injuries in Children
Any parent knows that all it takes is one second for your child to get into something they aren’t supposed to or to get hurt. However, if you know what the primary causes of eye injuries in children, then you can take the proper precautions to ensure your child’s eye safety at home.
- Toys – avoid toys that have projectiles like darts or pellets
- Falls – whether it’s from a bed, against furniture, on stairs or tripping over toys
- Everyday Items – work and garden tools, knives and forks, pens and pencils
